To highlight the amount of food that is wasted in the UK each year, the Feed the 1,000 Roadshow gave away free meals to passers by on Windrush Square last Friday.
Brixton People’s Kitchen held a stall together with our friend Virginia, from the Brixton Stock Market project. We served free muffins and mango juice, and chatted with people about food waste. Good news: people really care, and not just about free food!
