Next meal: Sun 18 November

The Brixton People’s Kitchen is back to the beautiful Myatt’s Fields Park on Sunday 18 November to serve food saved from going to waste to local people.

We’ll be collecting food surplus from local shops and markets, inviting local people to cook together, and welcoming everyone to enjoy a delicious meal.

More details below:

11-12pm: Surplus Food Collection and Drop Off 12-3pm: Communal Food Preparation 2-5pm: Late Lunch

Please let us know you are coming: Email brixtonfoodwaste@gmail.com or contact Fan 07810288879 if you would like to COOK or DONATE FOOD

Food will be served on a donations basis. Put what you can or will into the pot. If you have donated food, feel free to eat for free! Otherwise, we ask for:

£2 FOR A PLATE. £3 IF YOU THINK THE FOOD WAS GREAT! £4 IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HELP US GROW!

Donations are spent on buying an extra oven, to help us run the kitchen more efficiently.

We also welcome people to take food home, in case there are leftovers. So bring food containers!

Bring warm clothes too! It’s the last time until next summer that we will host the kitchen in Myatt’s Fields – but we will hopefully go back when the weather gets friendlier!

Enter through the Cormont Rd entrance (where the toilet with the golden roof is), there’s a group of buildings on the right, that’s where we will be.
